Charles Waterman: Closets By Design

For the past ten years, Charles Waterman has been the proud owner of Closets by Design of PA & DE.  Within two years of starting the company it was ranked as the largest of 40 nationwide locations.  Now with nearly 100 full-time employees, it ranks as one of the top three home organizing companies on the East Coast.  Charles attributes his success to hiring people for attitude, training them for skill and developing repeatable processes.   Prior to Closets by Design, Charles worked for Texas Instruments as an Industrial Engineer and was certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt.  Charles then spent several years as a CertPro Painters Franchisee and later served as a General Manage and the Director of Training.
